Update from Kenya from Pastor Gideon

Written by Gideon Mudenyo.

Thanks so much for your prayers and the help for bibles. They will be given out on wednesday. We did not have time to go back in Chwele and give bibles as we had many people to baptize and we were to be many.

God have us favor in this Bokoli centre where pastor Nickson ministers. We went trusting God for help and also expecting the arrest as we were using the loud PA System. Praise Lord for your prayers, the police came and instead of arrest they promised to maintain security at the venue.

Many pastors from different churches had  come together and encouraging their members to work in unity to the glory of God. At the end of the meeting yesterday more than 500 people had given their lives to Jesus. We also baptized 100 people.

The devil striking back, one of our pastors - David immediately took the motor bike and went to buy some food at the stores. He got a worst accident and is now at the ICU in Lugulu hospital. Pray for him.

It is our prayer to feed many orphans and widows this christmas. The nation having gone through the famine, we feel these children were the most affected and we want to show them God's love. We had wished to buy them clothes and shoes also but we are unable as we still have not gathered enough for food but trust God will supply.

Thanks for standing with us always. Greet all for us.
