2006-01-18 Jessica Update

Well, this last night at home certainly snuck up on me!  I just wanted to send a quick message tonight to say that I am leaving for Congo-Brazzaville in the morning!  Please be in prayer for safe travel, smooth connections, no lost baggage, etc.  It's a 25 hour journey from Portland to Atlanta to Paris to Brazzaville.  I should have pretty good email access there, so hopefully by Monday I will be able to let you know I arrived and tell you about my first impressions of my new home!  I'm thankful for the time I've had with family and friends, and I'm looking forward to this new adventure.  God be with you!  Love,
